Delhi Story Utsav 2023
Delhi Story Utsav 2023 took place on December 16th at DMRC Children Home! From the sparkle in their eyes to the laughter echoing through the halls, it was a day filled with stories, creativity, and boundless joy.
We been hosting this festival of stories since 2014 and reaching out to children from diverse backgrounds, fostering creativity, and creating a space for imagination to soar.
Mamta Saikia, CEO of Bharti Foundation, graced the occasion. The festival of stories is our little step towards creating a world where imagination knows no bounds!
Story Ghar scripted, designed, directed and prepared the stage musical for Manaskriti School Faridabad. Five hundred students (approx.) participated in the production and presented it in their annual function titled Abhinay 1.0

Suno Katha Shri Ram Ki
A captivating fusion of dramatized storytelling, melodious music, immersive sound effects, a LED backdrop, and mesmerizing Kathak dance performances. Storytellers Jaishree and Shamir narrated Sampoorna Ramayana. Through their compelling voices and evocative narration, they created a vivid 'Theatre of the Mind.' Meanwhile, the beautifully choreographed dance snippets interwoven throughout the narrative infused rhythm and pace, enhancing the overall experience.
Panel Discussion @NDWBF2023
Story Ghar and Cheshta Care Foundation in collaboration with National Book Trust hosted a Panel Discussion titled, 'Are Children School Ready? A perspective on Early Childhood Education.' The invited speakers were:

Theatre Workshop @DelhiMetroMuseum
Cheshta Care Foundation conducted a theatre workshop with children at Children's Home, Salaam Balak Trust in collaboration with Delhi Metro Rail Corporation in January, 2023
Delhi Story Utsav 2022
Story Ghar and Cheshta Care Foundation hosted the 9th edition of Delhi Story Utsav on 16th November,2022 at the Primary School, K-II Block, Sangam Vihar for 2000 children in collaboration with the Education Department, Municipal Corporation of Delhi.
Teacher Training Online
Story Ghar has been training teachers since 2014 empowering them to use stories and storytelling in the primary classrooms. To fight covid 19, we conducted online training sessions for pre service and in service teachers online.
Online Summer Camp
Continuing with the faith that this (Corona) too shall pass, Story Ghar conducted an online summer camp to uplift the spirits and engage kids creatively.
Digital Content
In order to reach out to children all across India, we create digital content (curriculum audio and video capsules, reading cards, audio visual stories/films for value education and foundational literacy and numeracy) in varied languages such as English, Assamese and Hindi. The content is available on educational children portals.
Delhi Story Utsav 2020
Storytellers from India and UK came together to enthral the audience at Delhi Story Utsav 2020, the virtual celebration of stories held on 19th and 20th December ,2020 The festival streamed live on YouTube and Facebook.
